Terms and Conditions for Import Contacts

Welcome to Import Contacts. By downloading or using the app, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Import Contacts, you accept these Terms and agree to follow all applicable laws. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.
2. Use of the App
Import Contacts is a utility that lets you turn a CSV or Excel spreadsheet into iPhone contacts and save them into the Contacts app on your device. You agree that you will:
- Use the app only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or disrupt the app or its services
- Not use the app in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the app or interfere with other users
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to store and manage any contact information you import and that your use complies with any applicable privacy, data protection, and anti-spam laws.
3. No Account Required
Import Contacts does not use separate user accounts or logins.
- The contacts you import are saved into the Contacts app on your device.
- Your import history and backups created by the app are stored locally on your device and, if enabled, in your iCloud account.
You are responsible for managing your own data, backups, iCloud settings, and device security, including any contact syncing you have configured with Apple or other providers.
4. Intellectual Property
All rights in the app, including the design, name, logo, and app code, belong to TextMyLink LLC and its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or resell the app or any part of it without permission. The contact data, CSV files, Excel files, and other content you choose to import belong to you or your respective rights holders. Import Contacts only processes this content on your device to create or update contacts.
5. No Warranty
Import Contacts is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that the app will always work without interruption, that it will be free of bugs or errors, or that imported contacts will always be created exactly as expected. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, reliability, or availability. Your use of the app is at your own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Import Contacts, TextMyLink LLC, and their creators are not responsible for any loss, corruption, or duplication of contacts or other data; any damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the app; any errors, bugs, failures, or interruptions in the app; or any issues related to iCloud, device-level backups, or third-party contact sync services. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups and verifying imports before relying on them.
7. Support
If you contact us at support@importcontacts.app, you agree that we may receive any information you choose to send, such as your email address, message content, and screenshots. We will use this information only to help with your request and improve the app.
8. Third-Party Services
Import Contacts does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. However:
- Apple and the App Store may collect crash, performance, or usage data subject to Apple's terms and privacy policies.
- iCloud storage and contact syncing are provided by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms.
- Your Contacts app may sync with other services you have configured, such as Google, Exchange, or other providers.
We do not control how these third parties handle your data. You are responsible for reviewing and managing your settings with Apple and any other providers.
9. Updates and Changes
We may update the app or these Terms at any time. If you continue using the app after changes are made, you are considered to have accepted the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the app and uninstall it from your device.
10. Termination
We may suspend or stop providing the app if necessary, including for maintenance, misuse, security concerns, or legal reasons. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
